Part of my signature Flower Collection, this rosebud brooch features a beautifully simplified shape in 3 shades vibrant and contrasting darker red Perspex. With two clasps on the reverse, it can be worn in different ways and makes a striking addition to a winter coat.
On closer inspection, a small area of the translucent red Perspex shows a subtle variation in colour intensity around one side of the bud and on the central join, resulting from the plastic-welding process. This is a characteristic of working with semi-translucent Perspex.

Materials: Perspex, silicone rubber cord, rhodium plated based metal findings.
Dimensions: 18 cm length × approximately 5 cm width.
