Mexican trees of life contain a magical quality that makes them much more than a decorative object. They are like open books that can talk about a biblical passage, a historical event, the life of an illustrious person, allegories about the miraculous; etc.  They are a celebration of the skills of Mexican artisans!

This tree represents Frida Kahlo in the centre surrounded by elements of her life such as doves, flowers, leaves, magical cats that look like nahuales, a lucky ladybug, a butterfly, a watermelon and her eternal arrowed heart.

This is a first edition double sided print of 100 Trees.

Instructions: slide the two cut and printed parts into their slots. Place your tree it on your bookshelf or your favourite spot in your home and enjoy!

Printed in the UK onto 600 gsm card, packaged in a cellophane bag with a cat decorated instructions label.
